In 1961 the Ithaka was shipwrecked on the Hudson Bay coastline 16kms east of the Town of Churchill after a large storm in Hudson Bay. Stories of broken rudders, running aground during a storm, even the route it was taking have been muddled over time.
One thing is certain, at low tide you can hike out there!
